Caribou Highway

Today, we left 100 Mile House and rode on the Caribou Highway for 200 miles to Prince George. We left mountains behind as they gave way to beautiful rolling hills, peaceful valleys and beautiful lakes.

This historical marker makes us happy to be speeding by the sights as opposed to be hoofing it here pushing a wheel barrow.

Though we have seen abundant deer, we have yet to see any moose.

The abundant grazing lands make it easy to see why there are so many livestock farms in the area.

The train tracks paralleled Highway 97 throughout our trip today, as did the Fraser River again.

And we are holed up for the night at the Carmel Motor Inn.

Till Tomorrow!
